CO-PO Attainment

The Department of CSE (DATA SCIENCE) follows a structured outcome-based education process to measure how effectively Course Outcomes are contributing to the Programme Outcomes and Programme Specific Outcomes.

01

Course Outcome Mapping

Every course defines measurable outcomes and maps them with relevant Programme Outcomes using defined correlation levels.

02

Assessment Process

Internal assessments, end semester examinations, laboratory performance, assignments, and projects are considered for attainment calculation.

03

Continuous Improvement

Attainment results are reviewed by the department to identify gaps and plan academic actions for better learning outcomes.

CO-PO Attainment Methodology

  • Course Outcomes are framed for each theory, practical, project, and seminar course.
  • Each CO is mapped with Programme Outcomes and Programme Specific Outcomes through correlation levels.
  • Direct attainment is calculated from internal and external assessment performance.
  • Indirect attainment is considered through student feedback and course-end surveys.
  • Final attainment is reviewed for corrective measures and quality enhancement.
