The Department of Information Technology follows a structured outcome-based education process to measure how effectively Course Outcomes are contributing to the Programme Outcomes and Programme Specific Outcomes.
Every course defines measurable outcomes and maps them with relevant Programme Outcomes using defined correlation levels.
Internal assessments, end semester examinations, laboratory performance, assignments, and projects are considered for attainment calculation.
Attainment results are reviewed by the department to identify gaps and plan academic actions for better learning outcomes.

The CO-PO attainment process helps the department maintain transparency in academic evaluation, improve course delivery, strengthen laboratory and project-based learning, and align student performance with graduate attributes expected from engineering education.
