Bengal College of Engineering and Technology is one of the best College in west Bengal. we have already come to know about BCET, Now we need to know about Mechanical Engineering department. Mechanical Engineering department was established in 2001 to teach Engineering Mechanics, Engineering Drawing and Workshop practice to all the students irrespective of the disciplines because these subjects were compulsory for the students. The department started its function in full fledged to the B.Tech degree course in the year 2008 and presently B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering course is N.B.A accredited course. This course in our college got N.B.A accredation two times since the year 2017. From firming the basics with classroom teaching, we, at BCET also focus on proper grooming of our students for appearing at interviews, enhancing their technical skills as well, so that they are ready to handle critical job roles.
