Admission Process & Eligibility Criteria

Admissions are made on the basis of merit through the Joint Entrance Examination conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEE) or Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Main) conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA), New Delhi.

Eligibility Criteria :Through WB-JEE/JEE(Main). Passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with minimum 45% marks in aggregate of Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry / Biology / Computer Science/ Electronics / Information Technology / Informatics Pra c t i c e s / B i o te c h n o l o g y / Te c h n i ca l Vo cat i o n a l Subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/Entrepreneurship, taken together (40% for reserve
candidates.

Admissions through Lateral Entry for Diploma Holders in the 2nd year (Third Semester) level of the B.Tech Programme is limited to a maximum 20% of the sanctioned intake in each discipline. Such seats are filled from JELET examination qualifiers. Other conditions as per State Govt. notification.

Eligibility Criteria

Diploma holders have to pass Diploma examination from an AICTE approved institution with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category) and B.Sc. Degree holders have to pass B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC with at least 50% marks and pass XII standard with Mathematics as a subject.

Admissions are made through MAT (conducted by AIMA, New Delhi) or WB-JEMAT (conducted by the MAKAUT, Kolkata) qualifiers. Selections are made on the basis of academic performance plus score obtained at MAT or WB-JEMAT examination. Final year candidates who have appeared for the above examination and awaiting their graduation results can also apply. However, such candidates have to produce their marksheets and relevant documents at the time of admission to the institute.

Graduation in any discipline under (10+2+3) with at least 45 % marks.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) 

Eligibility Criteria

Pass in Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination and at least 30% marks in English. Eligible candidates have to appear and qualify CET examination as per University norms.

Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)

Eligibility Criteria

Pass in Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination with Maths/Business Maths/ Statistics/ Computer Science as one of the subjects and at least 30% marks in English. Eligible candidates have to appear and qualify CET examination as per University norms.
