Welcome to Bengal College of Engineering and Technology (BCET), Durgapur. Since our establishment in 2001 under the aegis of SKS Educational and Social Trust, our institutional mission has been anchored in empowering students from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds with world-class engineering, managerial, and technological education.
In this rapidly evolving global technological landscape driven by Artificial Intelligence, Industry 4.0, and sustainable energy, technical education must transcend traditional blackboard lectures. Our focus is squarely on creating an experiential, innovation-centric ecosystem where curiosity is nurtured, practical problem-solving is inculcated, and entrepreneurship is actively encouraged.
We have invested continuously in cutting-edge computing laboratories, research incubators, modern smart seminar halls, and comprehensive digital libraries to provide an environment comparable to top national universities. More importantly, we place utmost emphasis on instilling human values, professional integrity, and social accountability in every young engineer graduating from our portals.
Beyond academics, the SKS Trust remains deeply devoted to public service and community upliftment, organizing free healthcare camps, vocational drives, and environmental sustainability programs in and around Paschim Bardhaman. I extend my warmest wishes to our faculty, administrators, and students as we march forward to realize our collective vision under NEP 2020.
