Mr. Shiv Prasad
Message from the Controller of Examinations
The Examination Cell at Bengal College of Engineering and Technology (BCET) functions as an autonomous, confidential division responsible for administering all undergraduate and postgraduate internal assessments, semester end-examinations, and practical evaluations in strict adherence to the regulations of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT).
Our evaluation framework is intricately mapped to Outcome-Based Education (OBE) guidelines. Question papers for continuous internal evaluations (CA1, CA2, CA3, CA4) and practical assessments (PCA1, PCA2) are systematically calibrated against specific Course Outcomes (COs) and Bloom's Taxonomy cognitive levels, ensuring a comprehensive evaluation of analytical, algorithmic, and practical engineering skills.
Key mandates and services governed by the Examination Cell include:
- Conducting end-semester university theory and laboratory examinations with zero-tolerance for unfair means.
- Timely compilation and submission of continuous evaluation marks to the university portal.
- Facilitating student exam form fill-ups, admit card verification, and registration processing.
- Distribution and official archiving of semester grade cards, provisional certificates, and transcripts.
- Redressal of examination-related queries through prompt student grievance protocols.
We encourage all students to adhere strictly to the academic calendar deadlines and conduct themselves with utmost honesty during all institutional evaluations.
