Message from the Registrar

"Operational excellence, institutional transparency, and statutory fidelity form the cornerstone of sustainable academic governance at BCET."

The Office of the Registrar at Bengal College of Engineering and Technology (BCET) is dedicated to ensuring that the institutional machinery operates with seamless efficiency, full statutory compliance, and genuine responsiveness to the needs of students, faculty, alumni, and regulatory authorities.

As the custodian of official records and statutory executive affairs, the Registrar’s office oversees compliance with the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), and the Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal. We ensure the timely execution of enrollment procedures, affiliation documentation, faculty service records, institutional accreditations (NBA / NAAC), and public disclosures under RTI and UGC mandates.

In keeping with modern governance best practices, we have digitalized major administrative workflows, from student verification and semester fee reconciliation to certificates processing and campus security operations. Our team remains committed to maintaining an open-door policy, providing prompt assistance to students and parents at every step of their academic journey.

We take immense pride in fostering an orderly, discipline-centered, and vibrant campus atmosphere that supports intellectual exploration and professional growth for all members of the BCET community.
