Message from the Chief Finance Officer
The Finance & Accounts Department at Bengal College of Engineering and Technology (BCET) manages institutional financial planning, budget formulation, auditing compliance, and fee administration under the guidance of the Governing Body and Finance Committee.
Our objective is to ensure that institutional revenues are invested with absolute efficiency into modern educational infrastructure—including advanced robotics and IoT laboratories, high-speed campus networking, research grants, faculty development, and student welfare facilities.
The Finance Department is dedicated to assisting students through:
- Transparent online fee payment portals supporting UPI, Net Banking, Debit/Credit cards, and NEFT/RTGS.
- Full support and prompt institutional verification for Government Scholarships including Swami Vivekananda Merit-cum-Means (SVMCM), OASIS (SC/ST/OBC), Aikyashree, and National Scholarship Portal (NSP).
- Assistance with student education loans and interest subsidy certificates through leading nationalized banks.
- Timely processing of student caution money refunds upon graduation and completion of institutional clearances.
- Publication of statutory annual accounts and balance sheets in compliance with UGC/AICTE self-disclosure norms.
The accounts team is always accessible during working hours to address any fee-related queries and provide clear receipts and payment reconciliations.
