It is my distinct honor to welcome you to Bengal College of Engineering and Technology (BCET), one of eastern India’s premier institutions dedicated to technological education and management studies. Affiliated with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT) and approved by AICTE, New Delhi, BCET has stood as a beacon of academic rigor and student success for over two decades.
Our pedagogical model is centered on Outcome-Based Education (OBE). Every engineering department—Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication, Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil Engineering, as well as our Postgraduate MBA division—operates with clearly defined Course Outcomes (COs) and Program Outcomes (POs). We ensure that our students do not simply learn theoretical equations, but design viable products, file patents, and write publishable research papers.
In tune with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, BCET offers dynamic multidisciplinary elective tracks and minor specializations in cutting-edge domains such as Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Data Science, Cyber Security, and Internet of Things (IoT). We bridge the industry-academia interface through structured summer internships, expert guest sessions by industry stalwarts, hackathons, and corporate MoUs.
